How can your NFV infrastructure provide traffic visibility to virtual passive probe for QoE scoring?

Speaking often with CSPs, it seems they are not taking such issue in consideration and there is no consensus within any industry standard.

    Angelo,

Not sure I understand the question. Service assurance testing should also be implemented in a network composed of VNF's as it should be in PNF. Can you rephrase ?

I am referring to the problem of passively monitoring the real traffic, not to "testing" that means to generate simulated traffic.  Passive probing is used already today on PNF to monitor the subscriber's traffic 7x24 for Troubleshooting and SQM/CEM, but the introduction of NFV will pose the challenge to keep the same level of visibility.

Thanks. Now its clear what you mean. Indeed I support the idea that this is needed. Sending test traffic is not the same as monitor real (business) traffic. What we have seen so far is that lets call it performance predictability -meeting performance expectations is a huge issue in NFV. We can talk off-line if you want.
