    Hello All,

I need some help to map the understanding of customer order workflow management in TAM to the Open APIs.
In TAM, Customer Order workflow management has Customer Order Item Decomposition which is described as "Customer Order Item Decomposition prepares the customer order structure for breakdown into customer order items.".

From a buyer's perspective, a customer order is a product order which he is availing through a CRM. In that sense, it is a CRM system's responsibility to break this product order into the product order items.
However, does that mean it also needs to prepare service order for the OM/Fulfilment system or the handover between a CRM and an OM is at product order and product order item level?

Not sure that I understand the question, nor how the question is related to the Open APIs. Perhaps you could submit your query also to the Frameworx forum, where it is more likely that TAM experts will see it.

In the Open API, TMF622 (Product Order Management) and TMF633 (Shopping Cart) are the APIs that deal with product orders. The API definitions do not mandate a particular architecture for implementation. So the Open API doesn't "worry" whether the implementation is a CRM monolithic module, or some Order Capture microservices, or some other software unit.

This will depend on overall architecture and individual capability of the system.
Based on role and resposibilities of each system pros and cons needs to be evaluated.
