    Are there any Data Management and Data Insights API, if any one has defined in the past. If not would like to start the discussion to define one.

    Hi Raghurma
    Currently there is a Recommendation API TMF680, which could be implemented on top of a BI platform. There are plans, I believe, for having more general APIs in this area, but I am not privy to the details. If you want to contribute, it would be a good idea for you to join the relevant TMF collaboration projects

    Hi Raghurma,

    I have been involved with the Data Governance Project which consist of a number of areas and deliverables, one of which is APIs for Data Governance.  The deliverable number GB1024.  As part of the first version of the APIs we are specifying the Metadata Management API and working with the Open API team to ensure we reuse and align on the patterns of the Open APIs.   One the specification is complete it will be provided to the Open API project for formal review.

    If you would like to be involved and provide input please feel free to join the project and the Data Governance team calls.    The first version of the Metadata Management API provides the capabilities of managing a metadata catalog, the management of metadata for various types of data assets, and data quality metadata.
