    Hi All

    Newbie question:
Is there any relation between TMF670 + TMF676 (Payment Methods API + Payment Management API) on one side, GSMA Mobile Money API on the other?
Or is this simple case of two distinct APIs, supported by two distinct communities?

Any recommendations on what to read, when its time to choose an API to support a Mobile Money initiative, would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance

    Hi Andre
Thanks for raising this concern, please see this related thread.
I think that the best course of action would be to raise this internally within the Open API team, to see if there is interest and capacity for looking into mobile money management in more detail.

    Thanks Jonathan

Any idea why there are so few materials, reports or aids regarding Mobile Money, in TM Forum?
Am I looking for the wrong keywords (and which would be the correct ones)?

    Thanks in advance

TMF is a member-driven organization, and it could be that until now no member (vendor or telco) has seen the need to abstract mobile wallet management with standard APIs
I am very familiar with the Open APIs, and apart from the existence of a wallet as a payment method, I don't think that there is anything else there. If this changes, the API team would need to be mindful of existing standards, such as the GSMA standard that you mention.
Apart from the Open API, TMF has a number of asset collections describing the functional space of the telco world. The Information Framework (the SID) has nothing more than a wallet as payment method. But I don't know about TAM and eTOM, perhaps @Avi Talmor can advise.
