  • 1.  Use of "status" in TMF637 for physical products

    Hello,

I'd like to know if there is already a proposal how to interpret the status model of TMF637 in the case of physical products which need to be delivered to the customer and should then be kept in the ProductInventory TMF637.

I could imagine to use the already described states as follows:

Pending Active: Set this state when the physical product is ordered.
Active: Set this state when the customer has received the delivery of the product
Pending Terminate: Set this state when the customer claims that a return was started (However this might not be the case)
Terminated: Set this state when the product has been successfully returned.

    What are your thoughts?

    Best regards,

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

When te product is ordered by the customer, the status is "Created". For physical products I would only set the to "Pending Active" when the product is shipped. Using the status this way allows you to make the status change equivalent to the Point Of No Return in the provision process.

I agree with the other mappings proposed.
