    Hi all:

I would be happy for some information about the API that allows to add, remove and modify the sick leave day or out of office so that workforce manager system avoid to dispatch to him any workorder and not consider him on the available time slot for appointments

    Regards,

    Cristian

    Hi Cristan
We don't (yet) have an API that manages the workforce itself. Some design is going on in related areas, e.g. an API for work order is published on the beta (early access) page.
TMF is a member-led organization, so if you have what to contribute you are welcome to join the Open API project :) .

    Please allow me to add:
The function to manage the workforce itself (not the appointment) but the sick leaves etc is not part of the BSS OSS stack. It should be a function within the Enterprise layer i..e the HRMS suite and that should expose the API which can be used by the Work Force Management function to mark technicians as OOO and not allocate new Work Orders to whoever is marked as OOO.
Hence should this API be in the scope of the Open APIs?

As per my understanding the in-progress API is to trigger the Work Order for the technician in the Work Order Management function. This is triggered either during Order Orchestration or any other process.
That API should not be used to manage the leave or OOO status of the technician.
