    Hi,

From an ecommerce perspective, customers will navigate our webshop and I want to use TMF620 in this way:
    1. ...
    2. Get this catalogue (GET /catalog/{id}...)
    3. Get list of Product Lines (GET/????)
    4. Get list of Categories (GET /category...)
    5. Get ProductOffering (which will be re-filtered with provided ProductLineCategory, SalesChannel and MarketSegment)

I don't see ProductLine in the API (version 4.1, April 2021).
This is useful for catalogue navigation
I suppose I could get rid of ProductLine altogether and use nested ProductCategory instead.
which could mean ProductLine is essentially redundant in SID too.

    Any thoughts?

I see the relevance of above, model and segmentation more appropriate from Industry4.0  Asset administration shell ontology.

I see that it is more big picture from mapping and aligning with ECL@SS classification, manageable and automated manner.

    Hello Matthieu, Paritosh

I got viewpoint from @Cecile Ludwichowski (from the SID team). ProductLine (as productCategory) is present in the SID model and it is a ProductSpecialisationType specialization.

This is not present in the API today. Concerning your UC, you should perhaps consider that this attribute is at ProductSpecification level (not productOffering).
We could probably wait to @Jonathan Goldberg return to discuss this and check with him if it's relevant to add this attribute in future release (or consider that category is enough).

    Hope it helps
