Open APIs

Hi All,

I wanted to check if there is any API available for customer's household devices such as mobile, tablets etc. The scenario would be a customer who has registered his devices for viewing/restricting content etc. Is there any API to support various operations like get/delete/post for such devices

I am unable to find anything in SID model as well.

In general, the SID and the Open API do not address specific product models, whether for tangible goods (equipment etc.) or for communications products. The SID may have some examples, but these are not normative parts of the standard.
There is a general role and permissions API (TMF672) that perhaps might be used for your use case, so I recommend that you look at this API to see if it is relevant.

Hi Suman,
for communicating with these devices e.g. Mobile, STB, Hub/Router there is communication protocol TR-069 with associated data model which again needs to mapped with standard APIs e.g. Rest API for communication (request and response) with required component. These APIs can then support - get/set/delete/Reboot/FactoryReset commands.
