Open APIs

​I read the Customer Management and Party Role Management API It's seem the same informations both. I understand that the customer is a sub type of a party role.

Is it the best approach to use the same API pour all the Party Role Type ? In the case of more complex Party Role like supplier, distributor, etc, the informations and the structure will be different than the Customer Role.

What's the best approach, 1 generic API contains all the Party Role Information or 1 specific by Party Role Type, if necessary ?
