  • 1.  Missing lifeCycleSubState in TMF639 - Resource Inventory Management API

    Posted Jul 12, 2019 10:22
    Hi all,

In the resource inventory management API (TMF639) a resource can have a lifeCycleState (e.g. Planning, Installing, Operating, Retiring) and it is also documented that it is possible to declare a specific sub-state.
Unfortunately there is no attribute lifeCycleSubState in the API definition, which is making us implement unwanted workarounds.
Was it simply forgotten or was there a specific reason behind that?

It would be much appreciated to add such attribute in the resource model.

    Thank you
    Kind regards,
    Marco

    Hi Marco
The Open API team is considering republication of Resource Inventory Management in release 19.5.
I have raised your issue with the team and I trust that someone will look at it, but cannot make any promises.
    Hope it helps.

    Hi Jonathan,

I working on the Resource Inventory Management API.
I will look into the SID, if the lifecycleSubStateType is there, then I will include it into the ResourceInventory  schema.

    Regards
    Thomas
