    Hi All,

I would like to know the whole ProductOrder modify and revision scenario. The current use case is like once we place a productOrder a corresponding serviceOrder is created from the productOrder payload. But in case of modify and revision how will the serviceOrder be affected. Moreover i would like to get an insight on the Revision use case as well.

    Hi Neema

There has been a lot of discussion recently in this community regarding service orders, you could try the Search feature (top right of the screen) to get the feel from some of these discussions.

You should understand that as per Open API and ODA, the responsibility for constructing the service order is on the BSS side (presumably Product Order Management), using information in the Product Catalog to decompose the product to service. So this same POM system will need to update the service order in case the product order is amended, and of course this may not always be possible (e.g. if point-of-no-return has been reached).

Copying @Ludovic Robert for additional insights.

As Jonathan has written earlier, this is dependent on the Product to Service mapping in the Service catalog and the resulting decomposition.

And the same applies to Modification.(You may not have the entire structure of the Product Order)
The action for Modify is different from the Create order.
