I am looking for an API for resource problem management that would underlay the service problem management API, TMF 656.  Specifically, I am looking for the best API for exposing basic network resource state information (e.g. SNR, Code Violations, Optical Power Levels) etc. that can be used by tier 1 CSR and tier 2/3 technicians for problem resolution.  I am looking to BBF for resource models that we may be able to leverage, but not certain how that might fit in with 656.  In looking at the 656 I see one URL ("http://api/problem) which is a reference in the GET /api/serviceProblem/ URL.  I am not sure whether is intended to be a reference to a resource level entity, or whether this is a typo.  Any help here is appreciated.

    Hi Phil,

The Alarm Management API, TMF642, supports both resource and Service alarms. Please have a look and consider.

    Best Regards,
