  • 1.  TMF620 - AgreementRef

    Team,

As per the TMF620, we have an association of the product offering to the AgreementRef. But the Agreement in itself is really an instance of an Agreement Specification that gets invoked during runtime.

So during the modeling of the product offer, instead of the association to the AgreementRef, shouldn't the association be with the AgreementSpecificationRef?

(Note - I have referred TMF651 to understand the difference between Agreement and Agreement Specification, hence the question)

    Hi Sugumar
This is a very interesting point. I think that the point of the agreement here is for catalog partners, perhaps - so that use of a particular product offering in your catalog can be governed by partnership agreements.
@Kamal Maghsoudlou what do you think?

Should the TMF documentation definitions/descriptions be improved to avoid all these kind of misunderstandings? I recommend that TMF documentation should be improved so it will be crystal clear for anyone that read it for the first time, avoiding any ambiguities. An expert should not be needed each time someone new read the TMF documentation.
