    Hi

What should be the API to create service request for a cease service request raised by customer?

The consumer (CRM or Order Capture UI) would create a Product Order entity (TMF 622) containing order item with a Cease/Delete/Disconnect action on the Product to be ceased.
Submitting this Product Order would presumably cause relevant Service and Resource Orders to be generated as needed to cause the actual disconnect in the network and freeing of network resources.
    Hope it helps

    Hi Jonathan

I wanted to create a case ID(service request) for the cease service , disconnect service order will be one of the action of the case. There will be some manual action by backend team also. I could see trouble ticket APIs , but could not see service request APIs.

I don't think that a case is the way to go here. A case (trouble ticket) provides a general structure for recording any type of request or complaint made by a customer (or other related party) to the service provider. But it doesn't represent specific semantics for any particular request type.
For this reason, we have Product Order, which allows capturing and representing things like:
    • Date for fulfilling the order (relevant also for cease, the customer may want a planned cease in the future
    • Prices for fulfilling the order (relevant also for cease, for example if a commitment term is being broken)
    • etc

What you call "service request API" is in fact a Product Order API (TMF622)

    Hope it helps
