  • 1.  Resoure Data Collection Process

    We have a requirement to collect in real time some attributes of a physical resource like a customer gateway.

    We identified the process Resource Data Collection & Distribution, but we didn't see any API related to this process. We discarded Resource Inventory because is more use to select the static attributes instead dynamic attributes.

    Process Identifier: 1.5.7

    Brief Description Collect and/or distribute management information and data records between resource and service instances and other enterprise processes.

    What's your recommendation about our requirement ? Is an other API can be use ?

    I haven't come across any Open API which is intended for this collection purpose..

    Have u looked at the ManagementInfo and ManagementMethodEntity in GB922 Logical and compound resources.. ?

    The collector service interface is only management of Jobs eg. the Performance Management Information..There is a API for performance management.. different types of jobs can be created using this e.g. collection, measurement etc., I think..

    With regards to the distribution of the processed/transformed data, it has to be over  streaming interface e.g. we use a messaging bus (real-time push based). I'm not sure how such streaming interface is defined in Open API's...
