Not sure that I understand the relevance of this post to the Open API forum - as an interface definition the Open APIs should be independent of implementation language (whether Java or something else), perhaps you can clarify?
But possibly java experts in the open API team might be able to assist (such as
@Knut Johannessen,
@Mariano Belaunde,
@Henrique Rodrigues )

Subject: AdoptOpenJDK is not TCK compliant at the moment, is it a problem?
Due to the well known changes in the oracle JDK support model I'm checking alternative JDK builds. Among others, I checked Adopt OpenJDK and there's a thing, that grabbed my attention. AdoptOpenJDK builds are not tested with the TCK at the moment. So it does not complies with the entirely TCK and therefore I guess it does not meet the Java SE standard. The thing is that I'm not fully aware of the possible consequences. Can someone tell me if this should be an important aspect when one evaluates different JDK distributions? If I compare AdoptOpenJDK with Amazon Corretto I can see this as a difference, because Corretto is TCK compliant, but as I wrote I'm not sure what does this difference mean in practice.
