Open APIs

We have started the development of new ClarityX since 2017. Initiating by Alarm and Performance module to give a facelift and create new functionalities. Clarity is legacy in many teleco operators these days. The ClarityX is built on new technologies including Spring cloud services (Micro service platform),  Angular type script UI, In memory solutions, Kafka , Websocket and etc.

We have recently ran a comparison betwen ClarityX Alarm module and OpenAPI Alarm part. We have noticed that almost 80% of functionalities are matched. 

We came to know that Alarm Change Severity function is not covered by Open API. Is there any reason?
We support this function in both Clarity Legacy version and ClarityX. User may want to change the severity of alarm based on the priorities.

The team leader for the Alarm Management API is @Yuval Stein​ - I would suggest that you start by approaching him to understand how to achieve this change in severity. Also I didn't look at the spec, so this may be completely off, but is it possible that a PATCH on the alarm resource is enough to update the severity?

As far as I know perceivedSeverity is one of the patchable attributes, so this should be indeed supported via the Patch Alarm.
Please let us know is there is any specific  issue that prevents using it.
