  • 1.  Advice on which API best aligns to an online DPA check

    Posted Jan 15, 2020 09:05
We have a use case where a customer may not have a Digital Profile, and requests to undertake a self-serve journey on our website without knowing their account number.

In effect we want to capture sufficient details to undertake a DPA check and match our known details to those the customer provides.
The details the customer provide are:
    • postcode
    • first line of address
    • name
    • telephone number
    • email address

If the details match to a business rule (e.g. 3 of 5 supplied details are correctly matched) then they will be allowed to undertake the self-serve journey.
If they don't match we hand off to telephony channel or show a let-down message.

Are there any examples of TM-Forum implementations of a similar DPA use case, and if so which API was the implementation based on?
Was it the Party API, the Customer API, the federated Identity API or some other?

Thanks in advance for any advice or recommendations !!

Sorry if I have asked the question in a way that discourages anyone from replying.
This is my first use of the Forum and I genuinely need help with alignment of the APIs.
Any details you have from your own implementations would be gratefully received.

    Thanks
