Hi Juan,
The CustomerBill is a legal document and once prepared is never edited. We do not add any charges to the CustomerBill from outside. CustomerBill is a static document which once created by the biller should not be modified / updated from outside.
However the AppliedCustomerBillingRate can be added, it can be added for a BillingCycle and if it is an Recurring Charge then Billing Period can be specified by external systems.
Actual CustomerBill will be created/generated by the biller based on the rules in backend, it decides which unbilled AppliedCustomerBillingRates it has to pick up for the specific bill. So it can be a scheduled next bill or an immediate bill that may be required to be created. But this is done by the billing system and not from outside API
