Open APIs

Hello, 

I'm new to the Open API space. WIth information framework, there was a document that included "Extending the Information Framework" to recommend best practices to extend existing ABEs. Is there a similar document for Open API?

Welcome to the world of Open APIs, hope your involvement will be productive for you, your colleagues, and your customers.
I suggest that you familiarize yourself with the recently re-published API design guidelines TMF630, these are very useful documents explaining how to design APIs, design patterns, and more. The guidelines include prescription on how you can extend the Open API model.
