    Greeting TM Forum community,

Here is the question, hopping to get more information:

    >> TM forum 678 Customer Bill Management Open API has NO (zero) notifications defined. This is explicitly stated on PDF document page 30.

It is unthinkable to have such important API left out of notification framework.

What is Your view on that ? How do I get possible TMF678 API producing notifications ?

    Many Thanks in advance,
    GUray

    Hi Gyuray
    Thanks for this feedback.
Please note that (at least currently) TMF678 is (mostly) a read-only API, in the sense that the managed entities (bill and charge) are not created or maintained by the API's operations.
We specify events that should be raised when something happens to entities typically as a result of API calls, e.g. POST <entity> will cause an <entity>Created event to be raised.
This might change in the future, if (for example) the API is enhanced to address use cases such as external charge creation.
But perhaps you had additional use cases for event notifications even with the current API capabilities, it would be good to hear about such.
    Hope it helps
