Hi,
As per SID, "Product" is the Instance of "ProductOffering" and hence the Product vs ProductOffering.
The exact definition of the Product entity is a "ProductOffering" procured by the customer. Hence the difference in the APIs for the Service Order which is based on the Instance and not the actual "ProductOffering"

Subject: Service Ordering API vs SID Model
I'm trying to match the Service Order API vs SID model (Service ABE) and I noticed some différences, in particular the difference between service and service specification.
In the Service Order API:
- the Service Specification is refered by the service order item and refere to the catalogue services;
- the Service is an instance of one logical service and contains service caracteristics like product and product caracteristic
But, in the SID model;
- The Service is a logical service Inside the catalogue that contains the service specification (like product offering and product specification)
Can you give me a definition about service, service specification and explains the difference between Service Order API and the SID Model ?
Thanks in advance for your collaboration
