    Hi all

In GB992 Open API Map R17.0.1 TM Forum Open API Map document, section 6 (p.65), "API verification via Business Process (GB921D)" refers to a verification of APIs against level 3 of the TMF Process Framework GB921D (a.k.a. eTOM).  There is a sentence on that page: "Please refer to the spreadsheet for the GB992 Addendum Mapping between API and Business_Process_Framework.  This is the addendum of this document to contain all the details of the mapping to support the API verification."

I would like to obtain a copy of that mapping spreadsheet to assist me with business process requirements analysis related to using the Open APIs in network service orchestration.  I can't find a copy of the spreadsheet searching in the TM Forum website.  Can anyone help me obtain a copy of the mapping spreadsheet, please?

    Many thanks,
    Robert Honybun, Telstra.

Andreas Polz suggested to look for  GB992 Addendum Mapping between API and Business_Process_Framework in the page: https://projects.tmforum.org/wiki/display/AP/API+Map but there was also a warning that it hasn't been updated since the original publication

Many thanks Johanne and Andreas!  (and noting that the xls file is from September 2016, so I understand the caution).
    Regards,

    Hi Johanne,

Again, could you share the link where I can download the documents about " GB992 Addendum Mapping between API and Business_Process_Framework"?

Currently, you shared the link does not work, so I can not refer to this document.

Hi Shingo,  I don't believe that this addendum was enhanced in recent years but @Cecile Ludwichowski would know the latest status.

Nevertheless, I would recommend you look at the work we are doing in the transformation guides which brings processes. ABEs and APIs together in use case examples. See

    IG1228 ODA/API Call Flow Use Cases v2.1.0
    and

IG1224 NaaS Service Fulfillment Guidelines v2.0.0
with both of these having new versions published soon!  If you are a member of ODA you can go in the current progress folder to find them or in the submitted for publication folder.

I hope this can help you.

    Best regards... Johanne

    Hi @Johanne Mayer and all,

In fact the GB922 has not been updated for a long time and I've never seen GB992 Addendum Mapping between API and Business_Process_Framework.
FYI a Contribution is in progress to improve this document https://projects.tmforum.org/jira/browse/AP-1428 but clearly this contributions aims at correcting APIs location in Domains not identifying relationships between APIs and eTOM Business Processes.

You may find more information about reltionships between eTOM Business Processes and APIs in ODA Functional Architecture documents such as https://projects.tmforum.org/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=154177062.
Of course it isn't fully described but it's a first identification.

You will also find for some components, the grouping of eTOM processes, SID ABEs (produced by APIs) and APIs https://projects.tmforum.org/wiki/display/ODA/L0%3A+Core+Commerce+Management

    See you,
    Cécile

Thanks for sharing your current status and considerations with us.

It is very helpful to have a collection of examples of how to use TMF's API on a use case basis.

To achieve zero-touch operation, I think we need to model the relationship between processes, APIs, and data at a detailed level, as well as consider the application method and decision logic of AI technology.

I would like to think about it based on your wisdom.

    Many thanks,
    Shingo
