    Hello !!!
What is the TAM application layer associated with eTOM's business process "Establish Strategy and Resource Architecture"? Could you please help me ?

Reason : We have a project here to develop some api's responsible to change equipment ip address, port  ("Network Maneuver") ....and we don't know how to start . Is there some standard?

    Thanks in advance !

    Hi Daniel,
I checked internally and our colleagues from the Frameworx team sent me this reply.

Typically Strategy-centric processes are hardly "automatable" or at least less "automatable" than Operations-centric processes, therefore the question is a bit surprising. Nevertheless, the only piece of software/application that we think of in support of "Establish Strategy and Resource Architecture" is establishing an architecture repository which can also play the role of an inventory system for architecture work and resources. In the TAM there is an 'Asset Management' application which could possibly help here, and there's also a 'Resource Catalog Management' application. I can only think of these two applications that could support the "Establish Strategy and Resource Architecture".

Following with some comments from my side, after a second read to your question. It looks that the change should be done in the Network Inventory, and for that there are a couple of OpenAPIs, TMF639 (Resource Inventory Management API) and TMF638 (Service Inventory Management API). Of course you can download the API specifications from our  OpenAPI portal: https://projects.tmforum.org/wiki/display/API/Open+API+Table/

I hope this brings clarity and we welcome your feedback

    Hi Javier and Daniel
The Inventory APIs would generally be used for updating the respective inventory entities in persistent storage, without actually affecting the network.
You might want to consider Resource and Service Activation APIs (TMF702 and TMF640 respectively), which would typically be invoked in parallel with the inventory APIs. And depending on the complexity of the process, you'd have Resource or Service Order to manage this (TMF652  and TMF641 respectively).

    Hope it helps
