    Hi All,

Could you please share your view on how TMF API's 641 and 645 can be considered for Asset Management ? If so please guide on the model which can be leveraged for the various operations.

    Hi Rakesh
Not sure what the connection is between 641 (service ordering) / 645 (service qualification) and asset management.
If by assets you mean physical resources in a CSP network, then 639 (resource inventory) might fit. If on the other hand you mean stock (warehouse, stores, etc.), then 687 (stock) might be a better fit, this API is available for early access design here.
    Hope it helps

    Thanks Jonathan for the reply.

As assets I was referring to parts (hardware, software, maintenance ... chassis , power cable etc) that are required to be procured and delivered to the customer premise/site to achieve a solution to address customer requirement. I wanted to clarify whether we have a standard  on asset/parts management as part of Service Ordering- these need to go hand in hand to ensure E2E completion & Service Qualification – like whether they are available and sufficient for the installation of a given service .

As you have suggested I will go through the TMF-687  Stock Management API.
