    Hi,

I have been using https://projects.tmforum.org/wiki/display/API/Open+API+Table as my canonical source of TMF API information. Recently, I was asked some questions by a colleague regarding TMF 647, which I was unable to find on the webpage given by this link. I was convinced that my colleague had made a mistake, until I was provided with the below link, and subsequently found the child page on TMF 647:

My question is why there are so many TMF APIs listed as child pages of the second link which are not included on the open API table (the first link). I would also like to know why the second link (API+Table+Data) appears only to be accessible via direct navigation to the URL, as, when I navigate to what I'd expect to be the parent (https://projects.tmforum.org/wiki/display/API/), I cannot longer see 'API Table Data' as a child page in the left-hand-side content pane. Indeed, the two child pages (Open API Table vs. API Table Data) have totally different content in that pane, and when I'm on the parent page (third link), I see the same child pages as for the first link.

    Thanks.

I suggest to take it up with @Alan Pope - the TM Forum staff member who maintains the Open API table.
Hope he can sort out your query.

    Hi Ben,
The TMF647 Address API you refer to was superseded by the TMF673 Geographic Location API two years ago. TMF673 is available to download from the Open API Table and an updated version is currently under development.
The API Table Data page you refer to is an internal page that we use to store download files for the Open API Table and is not intended for external use, so I have deleted the link from your post.

    Hey Alan,

Thanks for the speedy response. I understand, and I appreciate the need for removal of the internal URL.

In that case, I have one further question about the difference between 647 and 673. 647 specifies a .fullText search capability. As described on the now-obsolete API documentation, .fullText is "used for full text searches, for example when you have a single textarea to capture address search infos."

Is this feature of the API simply removed from 673, or is there an equivalent way of searching for address data? Looking at the Swagger docs for 673, I don't see anything indicating that this capability is present in 673.

    Best,

    Hi Alan,

Please disregard my other reply to this - I've now found the fullText capability in TMF 673's specification PDF.

    Thanks for your help.
