  • 1.  TMF642 Alarm Management API version

    Hi,

    The Alarm Management API has version 4 spec here: TMF642 Alarm Management API User Guide v4.0.1 - TM Forum with swagger file: https://github.com/tmforum-apis/TMF642_AlarmManagement.
    But the portal page for TMF642 references the old version of the Alarm Management API (v1) including swagger and conformance profile.

    What is the current version of the spec that should be used for new API implementations? Why version 4 is not on Portal Page?

    Hi Marcin
    The v4 materials are referenced on the early access Open API table here.
    Open API policy is now not to publish on the main Open API table until all assets are ready, including conformance profile, CTK, etc.
    Please note that specifically for the Alarm API, there is a discrepancy between the V4 Swagger and the V4 user guide (what used to be called Spec), see this community post that raised the issue. Hopefully the swagger will be fixed soon in the early access table.

    Hi Jonathan,

    is there a timeline when to expect all assets especially the (aligned) swagger definitions with the specs?
    we like to start a project soon and would certainly not like to rely on the latest official/complete but rather old version v17.0.1 instead.

    For this particular spec I opened a defect report, which was discussed in a meeting last week. I hope they'll take action soon, but I cannot make any promises.
