Open APIs

With some apparent current interest in applying AI, Intent-based activities, Intent languages and "Knowledge Plane" telco operations,
 has there been any work done to build a Semantic Web layer on top of the SID? i.e. Something like the use of the Resource Description Framework (RDF) with the SID?

I am contemplating a radical new design for a Resource Catalog where, it would seem to me, there could be good use made of W3C initiatives. I wonder who else has done something like this?

A few years ago I used RDF technology to link the eTOM and an in-house application catalogue (itself linked to the TAM), as well as to a catalogue of web service definitions. For that I used the open source Semantic-Mediawiki which includes support for creating RDF links.

I never got around to doing the SID, but it has always been a long-term goal. Now I am more focused on the use of SID through Open APIs, but I think a good RDF SID model could go a long way toward creating a coherent enterprise data model from the ground up, i.e. through URI references in the Open APIs to a common SID-based definition of the data field.

I'd love to explore this more with you.

I think there may also be scope for using Machine Learning techniques to learn ontologies in how data is used, possibly leading to "intelligent" data model improvement.
