Hi Charmy
This is a very legitimate business requirement. But it's very important to maintain the separation of concerns. Resource management is all about dealing with resources at a technical level. We don't have commercial aspects in Resource (or Service) management.
So, if you want (for example) to sell vanity numbers, you would create a product specification for this (perhaps as part of your voice offering), wrapped with offerings and prices. The product spec characteristics might include the vanity type and the pattern that the end customer wants to search for. You would take the values of these characteristics as input into your resource reservation layer. And of course the vanity type, or even an individual number pattern, could influence the product price.
Hope it helps.

Subject: Price with Resource Inventory
Hi,
We are looking for a solution where we can define price at resource inventory level. Say for example, for vanity inventories like Premium Numbers or Special number, customer has to pay certain extra amount.
We are not able to map 'Price' with Resource Inventory model anywhere. We are looking for solution whether we need to map pricing with resource inventory category or should it be part of order journey or mapping should be done separately for resource category and pricing?
What should be the ideal mapping for this scenario?
Please help
