  • 1.  TMF APIs for B2B Leads to Cash

    Posted Mar 03, 2020 08:45
    Hello TMF Open API community,

Unsure if this has been discussed in the past, but I'd like to seek clarity on the appropriate Open APIs to be used in context of B2B Leads to Cash. Reason I ask is that what i've found of the 'appliances' that we have used (a) have varying adherence to TMF standards and (b) do not fully comply with the full stack capability of Solutions Management - specifically Solution Design which brings together Product, Service and Resource Definitions.

Given these conflicting states, I see that Leads to Cash jumps across Service (TMF645/TMF641), Resource (TMF685) and Product (TMF622) across Serviceability, Reservation and Ordering transactions and depending on the 'appliance', there is one system that ought to hold these varied definitions across L2C states. (Solutions Design under Solutions Management?)

I'd like to hear the community's thoughts on this and how you have approached this in your organizations.

    Thanks!

Not a direct or complete answer to your question but there is a B2B Lead to cash example in   GBB959 Quick Start Pack: Fulfillment V0.4
which uses eTOM processes across Product Serivce domains and which is based on real B2B deployments  in UK and Australia

    - For both the implementations were based on Web Services ebXML which was the technology of the time.
However you should using the GB992 Open API Map R18.0.1
which is based on the same domains as the eTOM be able to work out which API would correspond to which parts of the processes

I would be interested to establish  whether there are other  members interested in reviewing and refreshing this material ?
