    Dear Members,

Please throw some insight on these two "Role" management APIs and their probable use cases.

    1. TMF672 User Roles & Permissions

    2. TMF669 Party Role Management

    Thank you,
    Madhan

    Hi Madhanram

User roles and permissions is all about granting authorization to users of software assets - this could be a family member being given permissions to content (parental control), a service provider employee being allowed access to override prices, machine (background process) being able to access entities, and many other use cases.

Party roles refer to how parties (Individual or Organization) interact with a service provider, i.e. what role they play (customer, contact, partner, supplier, etc.).

There is no functional overlap between these two APIs apart from the word Role.

    Hope it helps
