    How can we get companies to use these API's in their products? More specifically, who will be using the APIs for climate change and shopping carts?

    Hi Sultan, 
    its an interesting point that industry standardized APIs can be used to monitor and manage products and services more efficiently and in turn have a positive impact regarding climate change.  Many of the TM Forum Open APIs have an efficiency benefit to their use, take for example the Usage, Performance Management and activation & configuration management for example.  The use of these tmf open apis, could enable reduce waste in products and services. 
    Last year for the TM Forum Live catalyst project we investigated the use of forum open apis to reduce downtime of robots in industrial manufacturing through more automated activation and configuration management.  Bringing efficiencies into the industrial manufacturing will in turn reduce waste and could make factories greener.  
    There are many other potential uses in this space.  The Smart Life catalyst also used the tmf open apis as part of an application that they created and demonstrated at TMF live last year. 
    I think exploring this topic through catalyst proof of concepts is a great way to go.

    Its really nice to know some of these more innovative uses of OpenAPIs. Are there any links that showcase a list of such already developed "usecases" for OpenAPIs?

    yes, from here.  example, there are 3 videos from service providers on their use of the Open APIs and on the resources link there are a number of case studies and the link to catalyst captures many of the relevant catalysts.
