In particular, the Organization sub-entity of Party would allow you to build the organizational tree, and then Party Roles could be allocated as needed to the nodes in the tree (e.g. 1st level support, 2nd level support) allowing assigning of tasks to roles.
With that, I don't think that we (yet) have an API that deals with generalized task allocation to people/organizational elements, although the new process flow API
TMF701 has partial coverage there (maybe).Hope it helps

The organizational structure would be used to identify the users belonging to a particular group or department, so as to assign / view tasks to that group / department.
