  • 1.  Workflows Using TMF OpenAPI

    Hi

    Is there a way I can wrap my camunda workflows for service provisioning/order transitioning between the lifecycle states to be consumed by Northbound clients using TMF Standardised Open API?

    If NOT, then
    - wanted to understand from the community if that makes sense in the first place
    - & if it can added - I have suggestions on how it can be done & would like to know how to contribute

    What did you mean by ' to be consumed by Northbound clients'?

    I do not have ready answers on your question but I'm working on the same topic.

    If your client app just need to have information about ordering fulfillment process then notification mechanism should be enough.
    But if you need them to interact it is more complicated I guess. Currently I'm exploring the capabilities of Hypermedia (which is REST standard) to describe next actions available for one resource in one step.  There are on this topic some interesting information in TMF Guidelines.

    Yes Vikas,

    We are looking at exposing a TMF Compliant Process API -Ludovic has a draft of the specification.

    Ludovic can you put the draft in a confluence page so Vikas can take a look at it.

    We will have a session on this topic at TAW Lisbon.
