    Hello Colleagues,
I would like to brainstorm around the Product catalogues provided by various vendors. As part of Digital transformation, most of the product catalogues/BSS stack are getting redesigned around :
    1. Cloud Native
    2. Microservice Design pattern
    3.TMF Compliant and so on.

What do you think are the main key design points which makes a Product catalogue better than the other ? What are the factors which drives this decision. Also, which Open APIs are used generally?

    Thanks & Regards.

    Hi Shreyasi

Presumably each of the vendors will use this post to illustrate why their product catalog is better than the others. So of course I believe that our Amdocs CatalogONE offering will give a great experience to service providers. Built from scratch to be cloud-native, implemented in microservices, and using the TMF Open API model as defined in TMF620 Product Catalog Management. But with lots of functionality based on Amdocs' extensive experience (30+ years ) of product and offer implementation with our customers, including managing the product lifecycle, optimizing offerings, and much more.

Not to mention integration with our DigitalONE Commerce offering for sales, order capture, and order handling ...

Your more general question about which APIs are being used: Anecdotally, you could look at the Open API discussion community to see how individuals (architects, developers) from vendors and service providers are using the APIs. And of course the TMF itself runs vendor and service provider surveys, perhaps @Jon Coleman can explain to you how to access any published and aggregated results from these surveys.

    Hope it helps

Yes..these are the primary aspects from design perspective for product development to make it cloud native.

Thanks for your thought process for the same.
