    Hi,
I need some directions in choosing the right API Spec.

3rd Party Service Providers like PLUME provide Service like Adaptive WiFi, when the Modem and PODs registered for a Customer in PLUME Inventory.

As per my understanding, "Enabling Adaptive WiFi" service may be a Selling Feature for a Customer which in turn results in Business Activities like "Addition of New POD/Gateway in PLUME" which may further include atomic steps like
    1. Registering a Customer in PLUME
    2. Importing the Modem in PLUME
    3. Binding the Customer and Modem in PLUME etc.
and similarly functionalities like "Swap of Gateway/POD", "De-Provisioning of Gateway/POD(s)" etc. would similarly require sequence of steps on 3rd Party side.

While the mapping between Individual Business Functionality and the Steps involved can be typically envisioned as Workflow, my doubt is, do we have any TMF API that supports the business functionalities like
    1. Addition/Deletion of Gateway/POD in
    2. Swapping of Devices
    3. Discontinuation of 3rd Party Service etc.
that is orchestrated on Cable provider side (say) and essentially operates on 3rd Party Inventory?

    Thanks,
    D.Basu

    Hi

Generally, I would recommend making such posts in the Open API community here. You might get exposed to additional experts.

I suggest that you create a sequence diagram showing the process you described above and illustrating the involved systems. This is an excellent way to discover or validate APIs.

The full list of published Open APIs is available here. Depending on a more detailed analysis of your use cases, you might find APIs useful such as:
    Service Order Management
    Service Activation and Configuration
    Resource Function Activation and Configuration
    Resource Order Management

    Hope it helps

I agree with Jonathan's comments - these would be Service Order Management and Service Activation and Configuration. I recommend looking at the Network-as-a-Service component suite https://www.tmforum.org/resources/specification/tmf909-api-suite-specification-for-naas-v3-0/ (there is an inform article on this here: https://inform.tmforum.org/insights/2019/04/packaging-open-apis-naas/)
