    Hallo,

    we are about to use this TMF-640 API for IPAccess ordering.

    In the document TMF640_Activation_Configuration_API_REST_Specification_R15.5.1.pdf on page 11 we found an annotation in the statement:

    "... May contain the fully embedded service or only an hyperlink"

    "serviceRelationship" : [{

               "type" : "contains",

               "service" : {

                    "id": "43",

                    "href" : " http://server:port/inventoryApi/service/44"

    ....May contain the fully embedded service or only an hyperlink

               }

        }],

    Because we'd like to use during processing an active and a to-be service order, this would be a good possibility to send both in one request.

    Is this a valid approach, there is nothing mentioned in the swagger file.

    Does anyone use a similar approach, or are there more details in another document?

    Thanks,

    Whilst this is not a complete answer the requirement for order and activation are captured in
    IG1164 Requirements Analysis for the Ordering and Configuration of Services and Resources R18.0.0

    This report  was intended to trigger member discussion and perhaps initiate work on some form of combined use of  Order and Activation and Configuration model  largely to deal with long running activation transactions arising form transfer of control and hybrid working ( order and activation).
