I'm currently working on integrating SAP Service Provisioning APIs within a multi-vendor environment that follows the TM Forum Open API standards. The goal is to maintain consistent interoperability between SAP's API models and the broader digital service ecosystem our partners rely on.
During the process, I've run into a few challenges, particularly around how resource hierarchies, event management, and authentication layers differ between SAP and TM Forum frameworks. These small inconsistencies sometimes lead to schema mismatches or governance issues when orchestrating services across platforms.
I've been reviewing official SAP documentation and also using Pass4Future resources while preparing for the C_CPE_2409 certification exam to better understand the underlying API architecture and service modeling principles. It's helped me grasp the theoretical aspects, but I'd like to hear from professionals who've handled these integrations in real-world settings.
How do you manage schema normalization, API lifecycle governance, or integration testing when aligning SAP APIs with TM Forum Open API specifications?
