    Hi all,

    It might seem like a silly ask, but I am writing a thesis on Digital Transformation within telecom companies across Europe. A key focus of this would be understanding more about the key tasks involved with the Maturity Model and where current companies would rank on their automation journey.

    I can't seem to find much information on this, so does anyone in the community know good articles, research or insights which I can use?

    The main aim for me would be to understand how advanced different areas of Europe are and then compare to countries such as Japan.

    Any help is appreciated, thanks!

    Hi George, 

    I would advise you review via YouTube TM Forum presentations and cases presented over the past couple of years on this progress and cherry pick Telecoms that have had cases of DT being in progress or done. Its is hard to pinpoint one Telecom over the other in the progress regionally or on the Telecom level, since all Telecoms would like to say they are in this process, but in reality for one it could mean portal for other it could be offering, or something else. Find the niche of where the Telecoms progressed the most (what the marked requested) like mobile app, portals, digital services and compare, and then pick something where they had the most struggle with like billing or inventory. 

    If you group is by TM Forum TAM or by processes, it would still be DT, but segmented in a controlled outcoume.

    TMF has many member studies, analysis on various topic (digital transformation is a big one, TMF even has dedicated material, a training and certification)

    if you are still a student, there a  chance that your university is a member of TM forum. we have around 100 universities that are member and you just need to register with your university email to create a "full" account.
