  • 1.  Query Regarding ODA Compliance

    After reviewing the ODA component specification document, I have a question regarding TMFC001 "Product Catalog Management" compliance with TMF standards.

    Could you please clarify whether we need to develop:

    1. All mandatory resources with all operations in the exposed API, or
    2. Only the required resources with the necessary operations?

    Hi Mohamed

    Our future intent is that we will test conformance for the required (listed in the spec) resources with the necessary (listed in the spec) operations.

    For the moment, our launch conformance criteria are for the mandatory exposed APIs to match the appropriate API conformance test.

    Hi Mohamed

    You would need to meet the requirements of:  TMF620B Product Catalog Conformance Profile  which refers only to the required mandatory operations on the required mandatory resources.

    Of course, the conformance test is required to be performed on a valid ODA Canvas, using the supplied instructions.

    These requirements need to align closely with what the industry expects. It'd be helpful if the team shows how their implementation meets those specific conformance statements, especially around catalog versioning, product offerings, and service definitions.
