  • 1.  Seeking Solutions for Structuring Cell Tower Data in a Unified Data Model

    Posted Oct 21, 2024 08:11

    Hello TM Forum Community,

I'm currently working on a project to standardize and structure cell tower data, specifically focusing on elements like antenna specifications, security systems, power supply, and other related aspects.

We receive various tower data in unstructured formats, and I'm interested to know if anyone in the community has already developed or implemented a solution for organizing this information into a structured data model.

We are looking for best practices, industry standards, or any existing frameworks that could guide us in creating a comprehensive and flexible data model for cell tower assets.

I would greatly appreciate any insights, recommendations, or references to existing solutions!

    Thanks in advance!

    Best regards,
    Jonas Reimer

    Hi @Jonas Reimer

you can first have a look at Information Framework : MODA (tmforum.org) under "Information Framework" "Business Entity". If you don't find, it's possible to contribute to it and make a proposal. At least you can reuse and specialize an entity like "PhysicalResource" for these needs.
