Hi Hasan
Yes the relationshipType field in the resourceRelationship is a string and you can define your own values. For the ability to query all relating entities, please see this thread on the community https://engage.tmforum.org/discussion/resource-inventory-management-tmf369-how-to-do-filtering-for-indirect-relationship
Sorry, but I don't understand your query on the relatedParty, please can you elaborate?

Subject: TMF 639- Clarifications
Hi All,
We are planning to start some certification process on TMF 639. I would like some clarifications regarding the model. We have Physical Resource Model for Network devices.
- "resourceRelationship"- Is the Relationshiptype enum open to definition of our own values for ENUM?
- "resourceRelationship- Incase we are have ports that belong to a shelf and the shelf belongs to a device. Can we we include both Shelf and Device in the same call? i.e. can the parents be returned in "resourceRelationship"
- "relatedParty": Can you mention Related parties not included in the resource model i.e. Logical resources or services that belong to TMF638?
Regards,
Hasan
