    hi Open API community,

I'm looking for a standard API to provide customer facing KPI information, like for example, APN availability, data speed, service latency, etc. Looking through the API table I couldn't find any that seems to cover that kind of data. The Performance Management API (TMF628, which is still beta) looks more related to managing Jobs that might generate performance metrics than to retrieve actual metric values.

Would anyone know if there is an Open API that address more directly the retrieval of service KPI's?

    Thank you!

I'm not sure if I understood. But I think product specification can help you with that. Take a look at Product Catalog API

    Hi Ismael,

Thank you for the suggestion. I checked there but honestly I didn't find anything in the Product Catalog API or Production Specification itself which could be related to service KPI's. In the meantime I found another API that could be related, which is the Service Quality Management API but I have to analyze it further.

    Hi Andre,

I am also exploring the same TMF specs and SID guides for more understanding of the KPI definitions.

In TMF 657 (Service Quality Management API), I see the 'ServiceLevelSpecParameter' entity which has parameterType as KPI/KQI. I am still trying to figure out if it is a ServiceLevelSpecification entity that would be used to model a KPI.

Were you able to explore this further and have more findings on this?

    Thanks,

    hi Nagpal,

No. In fact, I was looking for an Open API to retrieve the current values of the KPI's but I couldn't find any that covered such capability. The ServiceLevelSpecParameter as part of the service specification provides a place to specificy the KPI but nowhere I found another API where the KPI values could be returned.
