Hi Rephael
I think that the best way to start your analysis would be to sketch out some use cases as UML sequence diagrams. You'd identify the various software components in your subsystem, and the interactions between them. Possibly a service order (TMF641) would also be involved. And to define the service (payload in TMF640) you presumably need TMF633 Service Catalog.
Good luck.

Subject: Service Activation
We are engaged in the modernization of order and activation system. We are looking to introduce TM Forum Open APIs. - Within the current deployment, the order management system is generating an XML file (specifying a set of service attributes), the XML file is queued into the provisioning and activation system. We consider in using TMF640 (service activation) as well as TMF664 (Resource Function Activation and Configuration API). We are seeking to translate the XML service attribute to the defined Open API specifications (not sure about the best way to do that). Any advice, or any other Open APIs to facilitate this modernization program would be highly appreciated.
