I am pretty new with the TMF 641 APIs.

I follow the tmf document and I try to implementing ServiceOrder & ServiceOrderItem State. I have query regarding pending state.

I attached the service order json payload. please find the attachment.

In this state diagram the reason to change the state is extra information from InProgress to Pending.

my question is what kind of extra  information required?

    Hi Shivam
For a Service Order, examples of information need might be:
    • Missing value for a service characteristic, only discovered during manual checking of a complex order
    • Unexpected issue during construction work, need additional permission to increase the time-and-materials aspect of the order
Maybe people with more OSS experience can come up with real examples from their engagements with customers.
    Hope it helps

Jonathan has given two very good examples.

Orders can be held up for additional information or approval from the customer for many reasons.

It could be that the original order was incomplete but not rejected. This would result in a prompt for the order to be corrected or added to.

Or it might be that the provision process is such that not all information can be provided up front until the supplier has done some planning or other work. Then the customer needs to respond to provide more information to further continue with the order.

So the supplier might as Jonathan said reply with revised costs and timescales asking for approval. Or a supplier might need to change the requested installation date and ask the customer to rearrange appointments for site visits. Or a supplier might designate a PoP as part of circuit design and request tie pair details for the hand over point.

    Hi Shivam,

In IG1228 we have started a use case on order fallout management which addresses similar questions (thought the use case focusses on the 'Held' status). The use case is not yet published but if you join the ODA project, you can access the material in progress.

    Best regards,
