I am trying to build physical network inventory for my software. Would need recommendations how to get it started, what all requirements should be catered and any documents that you can share which I can refer to get it started. Any best practice for same to be followed? Thanks.

    Dear Ritika,

I strogly recommend to start from GB922 SID Resource documentation:
    https://www.tmforum.org/resources/standard/gb922-resource-v19-5/

You can check PhysicalResource sections. Also, you can find use cases there and it is a great guide for especially physical resources.

    Best regards,

In addition to the GB922 Resource Guide GB922 Resource v21.0.0    you should look at these APIs on
Open API Table - TM Forum Ecosystem API Portal - TM Forum Confluence

TMF634 Resource Catalog Management API  which stores resource specification
TMF639 Resource Inventory Management API which stores Resource instances based  on Resource Specifications

TMF 652 Resource Ordering Management API
and on Open API Table - Historic - TM Forum Ecosystem API Portal - TM Forum Confluence

TMF664 Resource Function Activation and Configuration API

By integrating inside and outside plant data into a single, consolidated database, Physical Network Inventory provides an end-to-end network view that allows the network model to be manipulated and visualized at any level.
