    Hi Team,
What is the difference between SalesChannel and Distribution Channel. Will both have same information set of information shared?
When will the SalesChannel share ProductOfferings information to market as compared to Distribution Channel share ProductOfferings information to GeographicArea.
A DistributionChannel is responsible for providing ProductOfferings in a specific
GeographicArea. Each ProductOffering is managed under a ProductOfferingStrategy that supports any number of MarketingCampaigns.
MarketingCampaigns are run through SalesChannels, and use ProductCatalogs selected by ProductCatalogSpecification.
    SalesChannel:
A means by which a ServiceProvider makes available and sells ProductOfferings to the market. SalesChannels include DirectSalesForce, SalesAgents, TeleMarketers, and AlternateChannels.

    Thanks,

    Hi Deepa
This is a good question, best directed to the SID leads @Cecile Ludwichowski and @Kevin Scaggs. Hopefully they'll see this and be able to explain the difference.
