Hello Jan,
indeed, after internal discussion with colleagues, it appears that we have the same understanding.
Best regards,
Grégoire

Hi Nadeem,
So we have interpreted it as follows (no guarantee that this is correct):
event.id is the unique identifier of an event, which is assigned by the system, which performs the function of the central EventHub. So the ID is created during POST and the event producer gets it back in the response. Important: According to the TMF OpenAPI Guidelines a Resource ID should not be a Business Identifier.
event.eventId is filled with a unique ID, which is assigned by the event producer. It is therefore created outside the EventHub and is already submitted in the request payload during POST.
Regards,
Jan

Hello Members,
I have a query regarding the TMF 688 Resource Model.
What is the difference between "id" and "eventId"? I understood that "id" is an external key with Business significance, whereas "eventId" is a globally unique (UUID/GUID) Event identifier. Is my understanding correct?
Please reply with examples if possible.
Thanks in advance!
