Which API should be used to request physicals/business services

  • 1.  Which API should be used to request physicals/business services

    Hi

There are services that last for a short time and provide certain results. For example:

    • rollout of a system on a given site (just a rollout without providing any specific network service for a customer)
    • delivery of flowers to the given address
    • sending a plumber to repair the sink

    etc.

As a service provider, which API should I expose to external customers so they can order my service or build own offerings including my service in their ordering system?
I consider: Service Ordering Management, Service Activation Management, Work Order Management, Process Flow Management, Product Ordering Management?

I will appreciate any suggestion, recommendation or discussion.

    Cheers,

    Pawel

    Hello

at first sight I would propose ProcessFlow for all use cases of action from the customer.

    An alternative could be :

    • TMF622 Product Order to let the Customer ordering the productOfferings
    • TMF620 Product Catalog to let the Customer/Partner have access to your catalog

We are doing this for B2B partnering in this context : Open API's (tmforum.org)

In our organisation we try to interact only at Product level with Partners and Customer; not on Service level.
