Thanks Rigas, great to maintain and broaden the exploration of these topics actively in the community. All the presentations from the Internet of Everything InFocus event are available for members to download here: https://ioeinfocus.tmforum.org/agenda/
The workshop and panel sessions are unfortunately not replicable - what great discussions we had, including some fantastic input from the audience. I'm also attaching a full and a brief overview of the event, which those who were not able to attend will certainly find valuable.
Regarding business and monetization models for IoT/IoE, we have member collaboration team working on refining the existing whitepaper TR271, also available to all members, which I think you and your colleagues would find very interesting. It would be great to get more views and input into this document to create an as comprehensive series of models as possible – bearing in mind of course the constant evolution of the market and incessant innovation and disruption! We'd welcome new contributors to this group, anyone interested, please feel free to get in touch with me.
I'll be very interested as well to hear about the revenue and business models IoT service providers are implementing today.

Subject: How to Monetize IoT
Last month I attended the TM Forum Conference of IoE in Amsterdam. Very valuable discussions around the evolution towards IoE, the need to redefine the business and how to create monetizations models in the digital partner ecosystem. A lot of interesting presentations from Ericsson, Philips, GE, Bosch, Amdocs, iMont. Glad to have invited conference representatives from TM Forum and Infosys at our offices in Amsterdam to do a workshop with our business and present some highlights of the conference
At Liberty Global, our business and product managers are still trying to identify the business opportunities and how we can make use of our strengths to play some role in the IoE arena. Current thinking is more in a direction of freemium type of services in the domain of consumer connectivity to increase the customer value. B2B is also investigating monetization options via the introduction of new products, potentially using strong partnerships.
I would be interested to discuss more around revenue models and partnerships. What is working well for companies providing IoT today? What are the difficulties in the monetization models?
